A statement from the artist: I have worked with my hands and my back all my life, and have respect for handmade objects of all kinds. Printmaking is an appealing combination of workshop skills, artistic experimentation, and luck. It has been my private obsession for over thirty years. Can’t stop now!
Artist Roy Langhorst has lived and worked in many locations in B.C. since arriving in 1973 from Saskatchewan. He retired to Qualicum Beach in 2017.
