Inspired by travels Abroad and At Home: From Marinas to Magnolias
This exhibition is a sampling of earlier paintings inspired by international travel, and later paintings inspired by Vancouver Island subject matter. Rohana enjoys using strong colour, especially in those paintings inspired by Mexico. Missing colour in Chemainus she became fascinated by the bright colours of local wildflowers and gardens. These paintings began with realism but soon became more abstract. Rohana looks forward to seeing where this style leads her next!
