Back by popular demand, this highly respected member of the Vancouver jazz scene will treat us to his tasteful and lyrical interpretations of well-known standards, eternal gems of the jazz repertoire and original compositions. "Daniel Cook and The Radiators" is an original West Coast roots group from Victoria, BC. that features  the well-crafted song writing of leader Daniel (guitar, vocals), whose contagious melodies and timeless stories are blended into a tasty mix of indie-folk, funk and country.

Soprano Anne Grimm and Bruce Vogt, piano


A native of the Netherlands and current University of Victoria Voice Faculty member, Ms. Grimm is known for her “expressive technique” and “dramatic presence” and has performed throughout Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand in concert, opera and recital.  She is joined today by UVic Piano faculty member and internationally acclaimed pianist Mr. Vogt in  what is certain to be a delightfully diverse and engaging afternoon of song.

This superb, Los Angeles-based duo, both of whom have already forged esteemed international reputations on their respective instruments and are now completing advanced graduate performance degrees at the prestigious University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, are sure to bring us a delectable program of chamber music at its finest.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the passing of Claude Debussy, and there can be no better celebration than to listen to the exquisite interpretations of this grand composer offered by the French pianist Hugues Leclère, who teaches at the Royal Brussels Conservatory and has performed in the USA, Canada, Japan, China, Thailand, France, Netherlands, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain and Portugal.

The Sarah Kennedy Quartet


This remarkable, young Vancouver-based vocalist who has performed throughout Canada and Europe is known for her sweet and flirtatious stage presence and her light and smooth vocal tone that extends over an impressively wide range. Her vast and varied repertoire will, on this Remembrance Day, include well-loved tunes that poignantly observe the occasion.

These two extraordinary, young Vancouver-based players will entrance you with an absorbing program of twentieth century Clarinet Sonatas: works by Charles Koechlin (2nd Sonata, 1923), Mieczysław Weinberg (1945), William Alwyn (1962), and Francis Poulenc (1963).
