This show explores the above and below ground aspects of plant life, focusing on the development of their bulb structures and rooting patterns. I've combined a mixture of techniques and materials to mimic the liveliness and texture in nature. My work is focused on the Garry oak ecosystem and the native plants that define these meadow spaces. I hope to encourage more conversations about native plants in an effort to help with restoration and advocate for more pollinator habitat.
